Stories of Achievement and Success
“The Leadership Circle Profile (TLCP)
is a 360 degree multi-rater survey feedback instrument that is reaching
prominence through its selection for—and use in—Notre
Dame's "Executive Integral Leadership Program." Notre
Dame's selection was based on an exhaustive national search of feedback
tools that could match the depth of this innovative and spiritually
explicit program. The feedback and insight that participants gain
during that program has led to TLCP being one of the highest
rated components of their week-long Notre Dame experience.
I am fortunate to be one of the feedback coaches
in that program and can attest to its power and the unique perspective
it offers participants. In the course of my career, I have conducted
nearly 1000 feedback-coaching sessions around a variety of survey
instruments and I can tell you this: TLCP is such a unique
feedback tool that it has led to the best 1-on-1 coaching sessions
I have EVER experienced! The reason, I believe, is that it goes
beyond feedback merely on behaviors and competencies (which it does
include) to the source: the core beliefs and assumptions out of
which those behaviors live. In understanding the source, more conscious
change is made possible.”

“What my clients and I find so valuable about
The Leadership Circle Profile 360 degree assessment is that it not only assesses
characteristics/competencies/skills, but also provides incredible
insights into what drives those behaviors that are manifested in
the workplace. Having greater insights into the underlying assumptions/beliefs/values
that drive behaviors enhances self-awareness which is the most important
step for my coaching and for self-management."

“The Leadership Circle
Profile is an extraordinary aid for accelerating the development
of leaders. This 360 degree process is an integral part of both
our Executive MBA programs and our non-degree leadership programs.
There are two elements that distinguish The Leadership Circle
Profile from its competitors. First, the instrument itself
focuses on the critical developmental components associated with
long-term effectiveness. Second, the team of feedback coaches is
second to none—absolutely world-class.”

“The vast majority of our
Mastering Leadership workshop participants found the work to be
profound, powerful, enlightening, and healing—ultimately the
most important work of their lives. Each organizational unit participating
immediately noticed more commitment by its people; more trust and
collaboration with one another; a positive spirit that previously
had never existed.
I was personally stunned by its immediate power
to help me enter
places in my life that were previously untapped, unexpressed and
perhaps
unknown. I personally will never be the same person that I was.
I've found myself more trusting and loving of others, more able
to see my gifts as well as my shortcomings and their contribution
to hindering relationships. Through this I’ve become a better
colleague, father, husband and friend.”

“Across 27 years of leading
healthcare organizations, I can say that Mastering Leadership was
the most powerful program we used. In particular, it was powerful
in signaling to our staff that we were serious about our mission—about
being who we say we are. The workshop helped me to learn more effectively
how to reflect on the ideas and
actions
that made up my work. This process opened up another pathway in
which I can deepen.”

“The Leadership Circle
Profile 360 degree assessment is a one stop leadership assessment instrument that
helps me meet people where they are and leads them into essential
conversations about their life, work and career. It both confirms
and confronts, quickly, clearly, without requiring me to read through
50 pages of jibberish. Easily, it’s the most important leadership
assessment tool on the market.
The Authentic Leader workshop can serve
as a quick primer for individuals and teams who want to get up to
speed on a common language and approach to real engagement, involvement
and open dialogue. It can be focused on the Profile or used to build
core competencies around authentic dialogue, inquiry, coaching/mentoring.
Both practical and challenging, I find that The Authentic Leader
gets a team up to speed quickly on involvement strategies that are
key to today's leaders. Mastering Leadership workshop is
designed for those leaders at all levels who know there is something
more to leadership
than
meets the eye. A time for deeper reflection on the essential but
often overlooked competencies of leadership: vision, choice, working
with love and with fear, engaging others directly with compassion
and clarity. It’s a very powerful, often transformative journey
into the inner life of leadership.”

“The Authentic Leader
workshop allowed for our management team to really begin to grapple
with what it means to move beyond just managing the day to day operations.
It allowed them to move into what it takes to lead an organization
with a clear vision while being honest about your current reality.
This workshop has become a regular part of our annual training for
new employees who join our management team.
The work done in The Authentic Leader has given me a level
of insight and skill that will allow me to be effective regardless
of what organization I work in or what my title may be. It really
allows me to become clear about who I am and how I want to show
up in the workplace and more importantly, how I choose to show up
in the world.”

“The Leadership Circle
Profile is a powerful 360 as it lends itself well to significant
dialogues about leadership capability, not just management and operational
capability. TLC was terrific at customizing the Profile to meet
the specific needs of our target audience of Executives. The Executives
definitely found the feedback and private coaching session to be
a value-added experience.”

“The Leadership Circle
Profile is among the best assessment tools I’ve come
across. The Reactive—Creative Balance differentiates it from
the others. This framework not only does a good job pointing out
the areas for improvement, but also invites a deeper inquiry into
the underlying beliefs a person holds that contribute to their reactive
tendencies that reduce leadership effectiveness. I also think the
picture that is created with the circular, graphic representation
of the data is profound. In a quick visual snap shot an immense
amount of information is made available to the leader wanting to
improve. This was not evident to me the first few times I used the
tool, but now it is profound every time I look at my own data or
sit down to begin a coaching session with a new client. This picture
shows me where I am trapping leadership potential with reactive
tendencies and then provides me many options in the form of creative
competencies that I can begin to channel this trapped energy.”

"TLC Profile is
a breath of fresh wind for a stale conversation about leadership
development. The quality and depth of feedback it provides to my
coaching clients creates a significant jump in awareness regarding
why they do what they do. By shining a light on the underlying thinking
patterns that drive their current behavior, clients have access
to new choices and possibilities. It almost never fails to lead
to a new level of clarity about
the
client's leadership purpose and resolve." Dave Schrader
