True North - Leadership for Managers

"I have had the very good fortune to have been promoted a couple times since I've joined my new communications technology company, most recently, to Director of Engineering. Along with the promotion, I inherited a team of about 30 engineers in another state in addition to the 50 already on my team) that were originally part of an acquisition we made a couple years back. True North Leadership For Managers

True North Leadership (TNL) is a unique 6-month "leadership from the inside-out" development experience that transforms the ability of first line managers to create quantum leap results in their organizations. In addition, True North Leadership creates a "Community of Leaders" from across many boundaries of their organization. Consequently, participants develop a wide network of leader-colleagues as well as a much broader picture of how different parts of their company come together to produce whole company results.

Primary Objectives

There are four primary objectives of Leadership Forum

To acquire mastery in creating extraordinary results through others.
To build a foundation for powerful leadership.
To realize specific, measurable, and extraordinary results.
To build a Community of Leaders within an organization.

Structure

Monthly Group Sessions - The group meets 1/2 day per month to learn and apply new models, concepts, practices, and theories behind outstanding organizational leadership.
One-on-One Executive Coaching - Each participant in the program receives 10 hours of executive coaching to ensure individual transformation, accountability, and commitment. Additionally, the executive coaching assists each participant in "taking their learning to the streets" by applying new concepts and ideas to real time business issues.

2. Interpersonal Mastery: consciously co-creating extraordinary results with others.
